Shauna had a very good Christmas this year. I totally got spoiled! HEHE. Since we didn't go back to WA this year it was just our family here. Made a big dinner on Christmas eve day and then went to our candle light service at church. Raf came over after that and spent the night with us. We had church yesterday morning on which I couldn't concentrate cause I really wanted to open presents. lol. So..my mommy and Richard got me a new Canon Elph digital camera, money and this really cute keychain. And my annual ordament which was a palm tree all decorated. It was cute since it reminds me of here. Then Raf comes in with two presents for me. He got me a pink stuffed bear (to go along with the blue one I already have) and the Oscar De La Renta Violet perfume that I wanted. The other box was a North Face Denali jacket that I've been wanting for years. So needless to say I was over excited already. Then after all the presents were open he tells me that I have MORE! Goodness. So he brings in two more huge boxes for me. I open one and it's a DELL LAPTOP! I was just about ready to pee my pants I was so excited. That's really the only thing I wanted to Christmas, but was positive I wasn't going to get. It's so awesome. It has a 17'' display. The other box was a printer to go with it. Then bubby got me a mouse to go with it. Ahh, best Christmas ever! My baby totally spoiled me. No one has ever done that for me before. I was so happy. He told me he got it for me to use while I'm in Orlando going to school. So sweet!

Speaking of school...my mom and I went on a little trip down there right before Christmas to take a tour of it. We both decided it would be best for me to take the three months course instead of the three week....so I'm doing the whole prosthetics course which will be really fun. I get to do bald caps, broken bones and make monsters like you see in the movies! I got an apartment down there with a girl coming from Texas to do the course also. I'm really excited. I'm leaving on January 15.

Anyway, I guess thats enough rambling for today. Hope everyone else had a great Christmas!

Well I just got home from going to Flordia for a wedding with Raf. It was a really good time. Nice to get awau from this island and go somewhere new for a few days. It was in St. Augustine, really pretty outdoor wedding. They had their reception at this resort right on the water. It was so pretty. I'm sad she's moved now, one friend that I found here that was actually not a drunken fool all the time like some other friends I've met here. Oh well. I guess thats life. Anyway, had a really good time. But now its back to reality. At least I have tomorrow off too. That's always good. I'm not ready to go back yet. I'm getting excited. My school is getting closer and closer. Only really like a month and a 1/2 left. I got offered a job in a spa the other day at work, but it really wouldnt make sense for me to switch jobs when I'm going away to school. Raf was tellin me the other day that he's almost positive he is going to Iraq in like February or something. It's really been bothering me lately, thats going to be really hard if that happens. Anyway, my mom is in Washington right now helping my aunt take care of the babies. If you guys could help me pray for her and her husband. If you all dont already know, my aunt is 50 and just had twins...and they also have a 3 year old. I guess my mom said their marriage is going downhill and they are both exhausted trying to take care of three babies. So I hope they will get better. Ok, I'm goin to bed, just thought I should update.

First off, Happy Birthday BRITTANY! :) Hope you have a good one. Wow, I really never write on this anymore. Probably cause all I ever do is work. I finally got to see Raf yesterday. Haven't seen him in over a week. :( We went and saw Saw II. It was good. I hate scary movies like that, but it wasn't too bad. I never did see the first one....hmmm..oh well. Then we went out to eat after. It was nice to see him for a few hours. Mom and I also had lunch and went shopping. Had to buy some nicer work clothes. Goin to my friend Teris wedding in Flordia in a few weekends. It's gunna make me wanna get married. lol. Well, I really have nothing of any importance to say, so I'm off to work. Tata.

I never write on this thing anymore....bores me now I guess. I guess I just dont have anything interesting to say. Who knows what my last entry was about...but here goes. A few weeks ago my Aunt Elissa had her twins. Freaks me out since shes like 50, but whatever makes you happy I guess. Boy and a girl..Kai (boy) Tierney (girl). They always come up with the strangest names. I like the boys though. They were premies so they stayed in the hospital for a while. I still think Kai is there. So thats that. My parents and Adam leave for Italy on Wednesday for two weeks. I'll be all alone. :( I'm sure Raf will come keep me company. Was offered the counter manager position at work the other day. Still deciding if I wanna do it or not. Lot of responsibilities...lot more money though. Nothing else very exciting. Started a diet a few days ago, lost 5 pounds already. So I guess thats all I have to say. Night.

Back to reality today. Was off Sunday. Went to church, had breakfast with the parents, then Raf came over and we round around on his bike awhile and then ate at Wild Wings. Mom and I headed down to Ponte Vedra on Monday morning for my Clinique strategy class. They put me up in the nicest resort ever. We got there around 1ish, got up to our room that was filled with spa lotions and pillows, goose down everything on the beds and a view of the pool and a lake w/ a waterfall. It was soo pretty! We went to the pool for a few hours, then walked down to the spa and both had massages. Sat in the relaxation room for an hour and then the steam room after our massages. Went back to the room and watched Monster in Law and ordered room service. It was such an awesome day! Then I had to sit in class all day Tuesday, but it wasn't too bad. Back to work today, didn't feel too good, so left a little early. So yeah..thats about it. :) Exciting

Oh how I've been neglecting Livejournal. I'm always on Myspace now. Just working working working lately. It's my life. I was excited cause I got asked to do my first wedding the other day. 8 bridesmaids and the bride. They want me to go to their resort. I figure w/ the fee of the makeup, plus if they wanna buy anything and tips, I could be making more than $500. I could really use that. Gotta go to Ponte Verda, FL on Monday and Tuesday for a Clinique class. I gotta go alone, that kinda sucks. Oh well. Richard had to make an emergency trip out to WA this last Thursday because my stepsister Ellen was diagnosed with breast cancer. Its so sad cause shes only 25. But she had surgery, hopefully everything is okay now. While he was gone, Mom, Adam, Raf and I went out on Sunday and rented wave runners. First time we've done that since we moved. It was so much fun. I was riding with Raf, but got freaked out cause hes a maniac, so I rode with mom. Him and Adam got throw off on a big wave and both got bruised up. Adam lost a sandal, then found it, but lost his sunglasses. Haha. Good thing I wasn't on there. Idiots. It was so fun. Nothing else too new. Got signed up for my makeup school finally. Goin in January. I'm excited. Anyway, thats all for now I guess. I'm off to bed.

Well my parents just bought a 2005 BMW Z4 a few hours ago. I guess it's red, I haven't seen it yet. Raf and I went out to Nick's last night to eat and then went to Cold Stone. One just opened here. It's sooo good. It was really really busy though. Oh well, worth the wait. Had to work today. Gotta be at work at 6am tomorrow for inventory. Not looking forward to that. Had a day off today. I haven't updated in so long. Oh well. Mom and I went to have our nails done this morning, then off to Suncom to get myself yet another new phone. I love it. Then to BB&Beyond and Lowes to find a rug for my room since I keep getting makeup all over my new white carpet. Oops. :) Didn't find one I liked though, I'll just look on the net. Then we ate at Chic-Fil-A and layed around at the pool for a few hours. That was nice. Haven't done that in a few months. It's so hot here though, I really can't stand being outside for too long. Plus all the traffic and stupid tourists being lost has begun....uhhh...annoying. Went and visited Raf since his license expired, he can't drive. Went to Subway and visited his boss. Tonight mom and I are going to dinner at the CC...they're having some kind of fashion show, should be interesting. Anyway, I gotta go take a shower and play w/ my new phone.

My poor Raf got in a bike accident today. He went too fast around a corner...at least he was wearing his helmet. He called me at work from the ambulence (sp)...I was so freaked out I did a quick makeover and mom and I went to the hospital. Two disks in his spine has shifted, broken fingers and toes, really bad road rash all over his body. Poor guy, I felt so so bad for him. I stayed for about 4 hours then went home. I gotta go take care of him on base tomorrow. Man, last Saturday my accident and then today, his. Saturdays are not going well so far. Lets hope this is the end of it.

Well thank you Marcos Santos for hitting me and causing all this drama....$4,343.64 to be exact. Fuck me.

Oh wow, I've been so busy lately. It seems like I work a ton, but really it's only like 40 hours a week. Gotta make that money. I haven't updated on here in a while. I've become patheticly (sp) addicted to this myspace thing. Haha...how sad, I know. Been hanging out with Raf a lot too. Him, I and the fam went to Longhorn the other night. Really good. Rode around with him on his bike like all day today, hung out at the base too. It was so beautiful out today.

Got in an accident yesterday too. Scariest thing ever. My first one. But at least it wasn't my fault. Some dumbass Mexican who didn't have a license and wasn't even driving his own car slammed into the back of me. Gave me some really bad fucking whiplash, thats for sure. Did about $3-4,000 damage to my car. Since he hit me, that made my car jump forward and hit the guy in front of me....AND the girl in back of the Mexican that hit me, hit him! So there were 4 cars involved. So horrible. So annnnyway, gotta go to the insurance co. tomorrow and get a rental car and all that crap. That was really what I needed on a Saturday afternoon. Lovely. Thank you mexican for not paying attention. I really was hoping I could get a new car out of this whole deal, lol, you never know!

I went into work today and everyone had seen me on the side of the road and felt so bad for me, they let me have the day off! :) That was super. Have tomorrow off too. So I should get to bed. I think I'll go to the pool if it's nice, or to the gym.

Had my day off today. That was nice. Went to get my nails done this morning and sat next to this weird old lady that wasn't right in the head and she kept staring at me saying stuff like "I work at the mall", "I don't need any change", "Get it all off"....I don't know, she was really weirding me out. Lol. Then Lulu and I went to the pool. On the way there we saw a HUGE alligator crossing the road! Lulu started screaming and we were like in awe. He was sooo funny!! Just strolling along like he owned the road. Anyway, sat at the pool for like 3 hours...got burnt. Grrrr.. Oh well, my legs got really tan. Then we went to Blockbuster and got Spanglish and Ladder 49..Meet the Fockers was all gone. :( Probably gunna order pizza later and watch movies. Fun fun.

I had the best birthday ever!! I had to go to work, but that was okay, cause I got out at 1:30. Lots of bday wishes from work and some cookies. Came home and flowers were delivered to me and they were from Colby! So sweet! Pink roses and carnations in a pink vase. Then our family headed out to Savannah to eat at Lady & Sons...really really good. Had to wait 2 hours though, thats alright, we went to Jazzas to have some drinks before. While we were all standing in line to get in the door of the restaraunt who comes up behind me and suprises me but LULU!!!! I was shocked!!!!! She flew in just to be with us on my birthday. I can honestly say I've never been so suprised in all my life. I started screaming at first and then started crying. It was awesome. She got me this so cute Juicy Coture bracelet with a heart and watermelon charm on it. Soo cute. Then mom got me two pairs of diamond earrings. Some square ones and some dangle ones too. It was a really really good birthday. I thought it wasn't gunna be too good this year, but I was totally wrong! :) Then Raf came over and we had an Oreo ice cream cake and we watched Shawshank Redemption and Shallow Hall. It's almost 3 and he just left, so now I gotta sleep so I can work again tomorrow. :(

Well I am now 20. I feel so old. Had to work today, I was the only one in the whole cosmetics dept. this morning. Really pissed me off and of course it had to be really busy. Shauna trying to work 4 counters + fragrance doesn't go over well. :) I met Raf after work and went riding w/ him for like 2 hours. Then we went to Outback and rented Shrek 2 and watched it here. Good night. I had fun. Gotta work tomorrow too, but at least they are lettin me go at 3:00..then off to Sav. w/ the family to go to dinner. Should be fun. Anyway, I'm sleepy. Happy birthday to me.

Oh my, I haven't updated on this thing for a little while. Works been kicking my ass lately...have dine a few makeovers so far, gotten really positive response...so that makes me feel good. I helped this older handicapped lady pick out some bright red lipstick and did a mini makeover on her...her nurse and son were there, it was so cute. Made my day to make her happy. I'm so pissed, Jason invited me to go to the Masters with him..he like gets all the VIP stuff, it would have been awesome, too bad I have to work. :( I can't believe my b-day is in a week. I wish I was gunna be 21. Oh well. Been talkin to this guy lately I really like. :) He's a total sweetheart...about time I find out around here. Hes got a 05 Kawasaki bike and came to see me on my break the other day. Eee...I like him! :) I'm such a dork. He's gunna take me out for my birthday next week. Anyway, things are going better...

Looong day. Lord, I worked like 11 hours today. That kinda takes it's toll when you have to stand that entire time too. But I'm so excited cause all next week Lauder is doing makeovers and they're putting me in charge of it. I get my own big banner that says "Makeup Artist Shauna Phillips" will be here from..blah..blah..blah. I'm so happy though!! It will be fun. Richards gettin his car on Thursday.
